Grand Opening of Big Blue Express
Be the first to officially take a ride on Big Blue Express or take a few laps with Squaw Valley athletes like Jonny Moseley. Bid on the items below and all proceeds will benefit the Tahoe Fund. The Tahoe Fund seeks to become a major source of private funding for environmental projects around the Lake Tahoe Basin with an emphasis on recreation, conservation and education. Join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony after JT Holmes Holmes and Tim Dutton jump in from the sky at 10am.

JT Holmes is a respected veteran in the ski industry who has been a staple in ski movies for the past decade and a half. He continues to put products to the test while filming and competing, along with unique endeavors that combine his favorite sports in the mountains. JT is also an avid BASE jumped who made an appearance on 60 Minutes,Oprah and Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. |

Cody Townsend |
Cody Townsend brings a rare combination of power, speed, fluidity and style to his skiing; in an essence, you watch him ski and he makes it look easy. Steep couliors, 80-footers, deep powder pillow lines, steep AK spines, you name it, he can ski it well. After a solid run in the big mountain competitions from 2006-2009, Cody now films all winter and also keeps busy writing for several ski publications. |

As brilliant blue skies and warm temperatures return to the Sierras, Squaw Valley prepares to open for summer 2013. This summer brings a variety of outdoor activities including base area paintball, roller skating, geocaching, disc golf, hiking, scenic Aerial Tram rides and the High Camp Pool and Hot Tub. With incredible views of Lake Tahoe in a pristine alpine setting, Squaw Valley is the ultimate destination for this summer's big adventures.
Thanks for joining us this season. The highlights were many. From an opening day in October to the US Alpine Championships. We've put a few of our favorite moments together in the video above. We hope you'll enjoy reliving some of the season. We'll miss skiing and riding but will content ourselves with hiking, biking, Lake Tahoe, golf, kayaking, and enjoying these majestic mountains. The 23rd Annual Cushing Crossing will be the best event of the spring season. The original pond skimming event that started a spring resort ritual. Every year we gather a celebrity judging panel and amazing emcee's for this spectacle. Filled with big spills and laughable thrills this is one spring event that you don't want to miss.
Registration for this event is $20 and is limited to 50 entrants. Lift ticket not required for entry.
