Squaw picked up another 8 inches in the past 24 hours bringing the 2 day total to 14 inches. We will see sun and clouds today with scattered snow showers and plenty of cold air with highs only in the 20's. We could pick up an inch or two on the mountain depending on where the snow showers fall.
We picked up another inch in the past 24 hours as we slowly accumulate snowfall this weekend. That pace will pick up quickly tonight.
We Picked up an inch of snow from the light snow showers Friday afternoon. We had a break this morning but the next system is already pushing toward the area.
It was another cold morning with lows dipping down in the single digits. That made for another great night of snowmaking and you can now ski all the way to the village.
We picked up another 5 inches yesterday bringing the storm total to 9 inches. With plenty of cold air the snow guns have been firing as well and conditions are improving quickly.
Squaw picked up 4 inches overnight up top and 3 inches at the bottom. That brings the season total to 144 inches up top. This is cold and fluffy snow which continues to fall today as low pressure spins down the CA coast. The 4 inches was measured early this morning so it is deeper out there now and storm totals by tonight could be in the 8-12
The upper level ridge is still sitting off the coast and we will continue to see dry and mild conditions into Tuesday. Meanwhile the ridge will begin retrograding Westward by tonight allowing the next storm to dive down the West Coast with lots of cold and some snow for Wednesday.
We’re getting closer to the positive pattern change. We continue to wait out the retrogressive pattern that will slowy open up the storm door.
A ridge of high pressure is parked off the coast keeping away the storms and providing us with plenty of sunshine through the beginning of next week. There is lots of snow up high to enjoy this weekend from the storms last weekend.
The last of the rain and snow is pushing through this morning. Snow levels were going up and down all night and dipped as low as the base briefly. Squaw picked up another 4 inches last night at high camp. That brings the total for the week to 46 inches and 132 inches for the season, which is 29% of the seasonal average already. Conditions on
