Event Services
The Event Department is happy to organize group races, group race clinics and competitions for any group or organization looking for a fun and challenging event that is sure to entertain everyone. We will set up a special course just for you on our lower mountain Toyota Proving Grounds or on our upper mountain recreational race course depending on your needs. Our talented staff includes former US Ski Team members, a few of which are former Olympians and World Cup level athletes.

Group Races
Squaw Valley's Race Department specializes in creating custom events and races for groups of any size. From corporate teams, to ski clubs, to college and civic organizations, we can create a custom race course to suit your group's needs and abilities.
We can produce single day or multi-day events to coincide with your schedule. Conferences, sales meetings, group motivational events and more can benefit and enjoy the thrill of ski racing on our world-class mountain.
The Race Services offices are located at the bottom of the Exhibition/Searchlight lift at the base of the mountain. The Toyota Proving Grounds is easily accessed via Gold Coast lift, along the traverse to Shirley Lake.
Squaw Valley can also arrange special group rates on lift tickets and other activities.
Group Race Clinics
The Squaw Valley Race Department offers a series of Performance Gate Training Clinics to help further your racing abilities and hone your technique. This program is offered to all ages and abilities. Our experienced teaching staff will help you with edge control, weighting, timing, and terrain changes.
Gate training can improve your skiing forever!
This program also offers a membership option - join for the whole season with a Performance Team Season Pass!

As brilliant blue skies and warm temperatures return to the Sierras, Squaw Valley prepares to open for summer 2013. This summer brings a variety of outdoor activities including base area paintball, roller skating, geocaching, disc golf, hiking, scenic Aerial Tram rides and the High Camp Pool and Hot Tub. With incredible views of Lake Tahoe in a pristine alpine setting, Squaw Valley is the ultimate destination for this summer's big adventures.
Thanks for joining us this season. The highlights were many. From an opening day in October to the US Alpine Championships. We've put a few of our favorite moments together in the video above. We hope you'll enjoy reliving some of the season. We'll miss skiing and riding but will content ourselves with hiking, biking, Lake Tahoe, golf, kayaking, and enjoying these majestic mountains. The 23rd Annual Cushing Crossing will be the best event of the spring season. The original pond skimming event that started a spring resort ritual. Every year we gather a celebrity judging panel and amazing emcee's for this spectacle. Filled with big spills and laughable thrills this is one spring event that you don't want to miss.
Registration for this event is $20 and is limited to 50 entrants. Lift ticket not required for entry.
