Another 20 inches fell on the mountain in the past 24 hours bringing the 3 day storm total to 32 inches. Squaw has now picked up over 118 inches at the summit for the season already, which is 26% of the annual average and it's not even Winter yet. It is still snowing lightly this morning above 6500 ft. and we could pick up several more inches today up top.

Tonight a strong Pacific storm moves in. Snow levels will come up as high as 9,000 ft. briefly overnight before coming back down to the base on Sunday. We could see another 1-2 feet of snow up top with several inches to the base by Sunday night. That would bring the 5 day total to around 4-5 feet up top.

The weather quiets down starting Monday with the next chance of a small storm on Wednesday. Right now this storm looks to bring light amounts of snowfall to the upper half of the mountain.

Looking at the longer range we should see colder air begin to work in next weekend through the following week. It's too far out to predict any storms with certainty but the storm door does look to at least stay slightly open and any storms for week 2 would be much colder than the ones we saw this week.  BA
